Rule 8-13# The Punjab Hospital Waste Management Rules, 2014

8. میڈیکل سپرنٹنڈنٹ کی مزید ذمہ داریاں (Responsibilities of Medical Superintendent)

میڈیکل سپرنٹنڈنٹ (Medical Superintendent) درج ذیل ذمہ داریاں بھی ادا کرے گا:
(d) ویسٹ مینجمنٹ پلان (waste management plan) کے نفاذ، مانیٹرنگ (monitoring)، اور نظرِ ثانی (review) کی نگرانی کرے اور یہ یقینی بنائے کہ پلان ہمیشہ تازہ ترین (up to date) رہے۔
(e) ہسپتال کے ویسٹ آڈٹ (waste audit) کا بندوبست کسی بیرونی ایجنسی (external agency) کے ذریعے کرے، جس میں درج ذیل امور شامل ہوں:
• موجودہ ویسٹ اسٹریم (waste stream) کا تجزیہ (analysis)۔
• موجودہ ویسٹ مینجمنٹ طریقہ کار (waste management practices) کا جائزہ، ضلعی کوآرڈینیشن آفیسر (District Coordination Officer – DCO) یا اس کے مجاز نمائندہ (authorized officer) سے مشاورت کے ساتھ۔
(f) ویسٹ مینجمنٹ پلان (waste management plan) کے مؤثر نفاذ کے لیے مناسب مالی (financial) اور افرادی وسائل (manpower resources) مختص کرے۔
(g) تمام متعلقہ ہسپتال اسٹاف کے لیے مناسب تربیت (training) اور ریفریشر کورسز (refresher courses) کا اہتمام کرے۔

9. شعبہ جات کے سربراہان کی ذمہ داریاں (Responsibilities of Heads of Departments)

شعبہ جات کے سربراہان (Heads of Departments) اپنے متعلقہ شعبہ میں پیدا ہونے والے ویسٹ (waste) کے درست انتظام کے ذمہ دار ہوں گے، اور خاص طور پر درج ذیل امور انجام دیں گے:
