14. ویسٹ مینجمنٹ آفیسر کے فرائض اور ذمہ داریاں (Duties and Responsibilities of Waste Management Officer)

ویسٹ مینجمنٹ آفیسر (Waste Management Officer) ہسپتال کے ویسٹ مینجمنٹ پلان (hospital waste management plan) کے روزمرہ نفاذ (implementation) اور نگرانی (monitoring) کا ذمہ دار ہوگا، اور خاص طور پر درج ذیل فرائض انجام دے گا:

(a) ویسٹ کلیکشن (Waste Collection)
(i) ویسٹ بیگز (waste bags) اور کنٹینرز (containers) کی اندرونی کلیکشن (internal collection) اور ان کی روزانہ بنیاد پر سینٹرل اسٹوریج فسیلٹی (central storage facility) تک منتقلی (transportation) کو یقینی بنانا۔

(ii) یہ یقینی بنانا کہ سینٹرل اسٹوریج فسیلٹی سے ویسٹ 24 گھنٹوں کے اندر ڈسپوزل سائٹ (disposal site) تک منتقل کر دیا جائے۔
(iii) ہسپتال کی حدود میں کہیں بھی ویسٹ بیگز یا کنٹینرز کو بغیر نگرانی (unsupervised) کے عارضی طور پر رکھنے یا پھینکنے سے روکنا۔
(iv) سینٹرل اسٹوریج فسیلٹی میں لائے گئے ویسٹ (waste) کا ریکارڈ برقرار رکھنا، جس میں درج ذیل تفصیلات شامل ہوں:
• ویسٹ کی قسم (Type of waste)
• ویسٹ کا وزن (Weight of waste)
• اندراج کی تاریخ اور وقت (Date and time of entry)
• ڈسپوزل سائٹ پر منتقلی کی تاریخ اور وقت (Date and time of transfer to disposal site)

(c) ویسٹ ڈسپوزل (Waste Disposal)
(i) تمام ویسٹ ڈسپوزل آپریشنز (waste disposal operations) کی ہم آہنگی (coordination) اور نگرانی (monitoring) کرنا، اور ذمہ دار عملے (responsible staff) سے باقاعدہ ملاقاتیں کر کے رولز (rules) پر عملدرآمد کو یقینی بنانا۔

(d) ویسٹ ٹرانسپورٹیشن (Waste Transportation)

(iv) ویسٹ کلیکشن بیگز کی درست لیبلنگ (labeling) کو یقینی بنانا، جس میں درج ذیل معلومات شامل ہوں:

(e) اسٹاف ٹریننگ اور معلومات (Staff Training and Information)

• ویسٹ مینجمنٹ آفیسر ویسٹ مینجمنٹ پلان تیار کرے گا، جسے ہسپتال ویسٹ مینجمنٹ ٹیم (hospital waste management team) کی منظوری کے لیے پیش کیا جائے گا۔
• یہ پلان بین الاقوامی طور پر تسلیم شدہ ماحولیاتی مینجمنٹ اسٹینڈرڈز (environmental management standards) جیسے آئی ایس او سیریز (ISO series) پر مبنی ہوگا۔

(2) ویسٹ مینجمنٹ پلان کے اجزاء (Contents of the Waste Management Plan)
