QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
a)
MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from an institute or university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC), and
FCPS, MS, FRCS, MRCP, MD, or Diplomat of American Board in the respective specialty or equivalent medical qualification from an institute or university recognized by PMC/PMDC.
If none is available with the above qualification, then:
MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from an institute or university recognized by PMC / PMDC, and
FCPS, MS, FRCS, MRCP, MD, or Diplomat of American Board (General Surgery or Medicine, whichever is relevant to the specialty) or equivalent qualification from an institute or university recognized by PMC / PMDC, with three (03) years post-graduation practical experience in the respective specialty from a recognized institute.
b)
Five (05) years teaching experience as Assistant Professor of Gastroenterology in an institution recognized by the PMC / PMDC, and
At least three (03) research papers produced as Assistant Professor, published in a standard medical journal recognized and duly evaluated by PMC / PMDC in the prescribed manner.
