Prescribed Qualification / Experience
(As per Service Rules)
i) Essential Qualification
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by PMDC/PMC, AND
- One of the following postgraduate qualifications in the subject:
- D.Sc
- Ph.D
- M.Phil (Pakistan)
- Or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC/PMC
Additional Requirements:
- 05 years teaching experience in the subject as Assistant Professor or equivalent position recognized by PMDC
- At least 03 research papers published in standard medical journals while working as Assistant Professor
- Credit will be given for:
- Original research work published in standard medical journals
- Teaching experience in recognized institutions
ii) If Candidates with Above Qualifications Are Not Available
- Postgraduate Minor Diploma in the subject recognized by PMDC
- 03 years teaching experience as Demonstrator
AND
- 07 years experience as Assistant Professor
- At least 05 research papers published in standard medical journals while working as Assistant Professor
Credit will be given for original research work published in standard medical journals.
Age Limit
- Male: 30 to 50 + 05 = 55 years
- Female: 30 to 50 + 08 = 58 years
- Transgender: Age and sex will be determined as per CNIC
