ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR ORTHODONTICS
(On Regular Basis)
Qualifications & Experience:
i) First Preference
a) BDS or equivalent dental qualification recognized by PMDC/PMC with postgraduate qualifications viz. MDS in the relevant subject or other equivalent qualifications recognized by PMDC/PMC.
AND
b) 5 years teaching experience in the relevant subject in a recognized institution as Assistant Professor or an equivalent position recognized by PMDC/PMC, with at least 3 research papers published in a standard Medical/Dental Journal while working as Assistant Professor.
Teaching experience will be preferred.
Credit will be given for original research work published in a standard Medical/Dental Journal.
ii) If no candidate with the above qualifications is available:
a) BDS or equivalent dental qualification recognized by PMDC/PMC with postgraduate minor diploma in the relevant subject recognized by PMDC/PMC; and
b) 3 years teaching experience in the relevant subject as Demonstrator in a recognized institution after postgraduate qualification. Credit will be given for original research work published in a standard Medical/Dental Journal; AND
c) 7 years teaching experience as Assistant Professor in the respective subject, with at least 5 research papers published in a standard Medical/Dental Journal while working as Assistant Professor.
Age Limit:
Male: 30 to 50 + 5 years general relaxation = 55 years
Female: 30 to 50 + 8 years general relaxation = 58 years
Transgender: Age and sex will be based on CNIC.
