QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
a) MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from an institute or university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) / Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC), and
FCPS, MS, FRCS, MRCP, MD, or Diplomat of American Board in the respective specialty, or equivalent medical qualification in the respective specialty from an institute or university recognized by the PMC / PMDC.
If none is available with the above qualifications, then:
MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from an institute or university recognized by the PMC / PMDC, and
FCPS, MS, FRCS, MRCP, MD, or Diplomat of American Board (General Surgery or Medicine, whichever is relevant to the respective specialty), or equivalent qualification from an institute or university recognized by the PMC / PMDC, with three (03) years’ post-graduation practical experience in the respective specialty from a recognized institute.
NOTE:
i) Experience gained in the Government Sector will only be accepted if issued by the designated authority and countersigned by the concerned Administrative Department.
ii) Practical experience gained from a Foreign / Autonomous Body / Private Institution shall only be accepted if it is recognized and issued by the PM&DC.
iii) A valid (full) Permanent Registration Certificate from PMC / PM&DC, showing post-graduate qualification issued on or before the closing date of the advertised post(s), is required.
If the registration has expired, proof of having applied for renewal on or before the closing date must be provided.
