Nature of Appointment: On Regular Basis
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
a) MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from an institute or university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) / Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC), and
FCPS, MS, FRCS, MRCP, MD, or Diplomat of American Board in the respective specialty or an equivalent medical qualification in the respective specialty from an institute or university recognized by PMC/PMDC.
If none is available with the above qualification, then:
MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMC/PMDC, and FCPS, MS, FRCS, MRCP, MD, or Diplomat of American Board (General Surgery or Medicine, whichever is relevant to the respective specialty) or an equivalent qualification recognized by PMC/PMDC, with three (03) years’ post-graduation practical experience in the respective specialty from a recognized institution.
b) Teaching Experience:
03 years teaching experience in the subject as Associate Professor or an equivalent position recognized by PMC/PMDC,
Provided that the total teaching experience as Assistant / Associate Professor is not less than 08 years,
OR
09 years teaching experience as Assistant Professor in a recognized institution with at least five (05) research papers published in a standard medical journal while working as Assistant/Associate Professor.
