ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF OPERATIVE DENTISTRY
Qualifications & Experience:
i) First Preference
BDS or equivalent dental qualifications recognized by PMDC/PMC with postgraduate qualifications viz. MDS in the relevant subject or other equivalent qualifications recognized by PMDC/PMC.
Teaching experience will be preferred.
Credit will be given for original research work published in a standard Medical/Dental Journal.
ii) If no candidate with the above qualifications is available:
a) BDS or equivalent dental qualifications recognized by PMDC/PMC with postgraduate minor diploma in the relevant subject as recognized by PMDC/PMC.
b) 3 years teaching experience in the relevant subject as Demonstrator in a recognized institution after postgraduate qualification.
Credit will be given for original research work published in a standard Medical/Dental Journal.
iii) If no candidate with the above qualifications is available:
a) BDS or equivalent dental qualifications recognized by PMDC/PMC.
b) 10 years teaching experience as Demonstrator in the relevant subject; provided that at least 3 research papers are published in a standard Medical/Dental Journal.
NOTE:
Only teaching experience after the prescribed qualification shall be considered.
Valid (full) Permanent Registration Certificate from PMDC/PMC showing postgraduate qualification, issued on or before the closing date, is required.
Age Limit:
Male: 25 to 45 + 5 years general relaxation = 50 years
Female: 25 to 45 + 8 years general relaxation = 53 years
Transgender: Age and sex will be based on CNIC.
